JJI-Joists, following exhaustive research and testing, have been awarded third party certification from both the British Board of Agrément and BM TRADA Certification.
BBA Certification and BM TRADA Q-Mark are recognised by:-
- NHBC
- UKTFA
- Zurich Municipal
- Building Contractors
- Building Control Officers and others
In 2006, JJI-Joists gained the European Technical Approval ETA-05/0224.
In 2009, JJJ-Joists gained the BM TRADA Q-Mark EWP-0001.
Quality Control & Quality Assurance
With any manufactured product, quality determines its success. It is for this reason that James Jones & Sons Limited, Timbers Systems Division maintains a thorough Quality Assurance program which enables us to achieve our goal of producing a consistent and uniform product of exceptionally high standards.
JJI-Joists are manufactured under a Quality Assurance Scheme which complies with BS EN ISO 9001:2008.
The BS EN ISO 9001:2008 scheme is audited by BM TRADA Certification who carry out routine surveillance visits.
