UKTFA Engineered Wood Products Committee Publish New Code of Practice
The UK Timber Frame Association's Engineered Wood Products Committee has been working for some time to prepare an Engineered Wood Products Code of Practice (COP). The aim of the COP is to provide design guidance that represents industry best practice and sets out minimum standards to be achieved.
James Jones and Sons Ltd, Timber Systems Division have had a representative on this committee throughout this process and were directly involved in deciding the technical content. This COP has now been published and we would recommend you to download a copy from our website.
Please ensure that all relevant members of staff have access to a copy of the COP within your organisation and are familiar with the content. It is also our recommendation that all designs should now comply with the COP.
