Fourth Edition Technical Manual

James Jones & Sons Ltd. – Timber Systems Division, are delighted to announce the latest release of our highly acclaimed Technical Manual. This Fourth Edition, released for EcoBuild 2010, is our most comprehensive manual to date, containing all the information a Building Professional needs to specify, design and detail JJI‑Joists in floor, roof and wall applications. Updates for the Fourth Edition include:

Business Development Manager Mr. Mark Tilston explained: "This new edition of the Technical Manual is our most important manual to date as it contains our new JJI‑Joist TRADA Q‑mark strength properties to both BS5268‑2 and Eurocode 5, and updated joist span tables showing improved spans by as much as 355mm. Also as thermal performance becomes more and more important to the Designer, our wall section now includes easy to read indicative U‑Values for different insulations and JJI‑Stud thicknesses up to 300mm".
